Update & Some Links on Tolkien
Why I won't be around as much as I'd hoped/planned to be the next month!
The amazing news is that the proofs for our collection, Queer Approaches to Tolkien: Essays on the Many Paths to Middle-earth, have arrived! Our job is to proofread to identify errors (and supply corrections) (MINOR ones — no adding to the text/changing the pagination!) and to create an index.
By August 14.
And the other fun thing is that if Reader #2’s report comes in on time (end of July), I may also be adding the tasks involved in finalizing the collection on racisms and Tolkien to the ever-growing list!
The photo above was chosen to reflect how it feels looking ahead/up at the task(s), just saying.
So I probably won’t be posting as much/at length as I tend to do because priorities!
I may try to do little short ones just to connect to something outside The Task during short breaks.
So first attempt at that: have a list of links to stuff I’ve been collecting to think about and maybe use in writing, or at least include in, ahem, bibliographies!
