Warning: Fandom Pulse

Far-right extremists

I was recently followed by a Substack titled “Fandom Pulse.” I checked it out and one of the first posts I saw was a rant about the vile “woke” activists in the Silmarillion Writers’ Guild and File 770 (which is the best fandom newsletter I know of, bar none) which had linked to my “Orcs are People” post. We are apparently part of the establishment who are being racist by refusing to accept that orcs are demonic/evil/etc. etc. beings (which was Tolkien’s intention). Same old, same old, crap. I blocked the site immediately which Substack makes it easy to do, but I also wanted to warn people and share the link on how to block in Substack.
