I'm working on a book that looks at the ways white supremacists and ethno-nationalists use and abuse, and sometimes entirely misunderstand, various texts as they make their case. I'm working on their use of literature for a few chapters and have been collecting some information about the ways Tolkien has been adopted and misappropriated.
